Location: Cary - NC - Department: Training and Compliance

We are looking for a professional Training Coordinator to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of training events and special projects. You will manage, design, develop, coordinate and conduct large or small scale training programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Map out training plans, design and develop training programs (outsourced or in-house)
  • Choose appropriate training methods per case (simulations, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes etc)
  • Market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
  • Conduct organization wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Use accepted education principles and track new training methods and techniques
  • Design and prepare educational aids and materials
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and summaries evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
  • Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods and techniques
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills
  • BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related field

Estimator Job Purpose: Prepares cost estimates by analyzing photos and speaking to crews for guidance on dimensions and quantity.

  • Must be observant and be very good at paying attention to detail.
  • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering the necessary information such as scope of work, specific locations of damages, dimensions, materials needed (sizes & quantities), men/man hours, cyds of debris to be created, Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying photos, researching property and materials and speaking to field crews property specifications, and related documents.
  • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
